Hoarding as communication, not wallpaper

A long hoarding run should be planned as a sequence. Brand recognition, project information, visual rhythm, entrances, corners, viewing distances and panel joins all matter. Artwork should use the surveyed panel schedule, not an assumed continuous canvas.

Before printing, confirm the substrate, panel condition, dimensions, fixing method, access, edge details and whether graphics are direct-applied, mounted as panels or part of a reusable system.

Control of changing safety information

The client or duty holder must provide and approve the required safety content. Purple Frog Signs can design for clarity and produce the signs, but signage does not replace a risk assessment, site controls or competent health-and-safety advice. Date-sensitive or phase-specific information should use a managed update process.

Installation planning

Site installations may require induction, PPE, escorts, booked delivery slots, permits, access equipment and coordination with other trades. Final RAMS should reflect the actual site and agreed method.

Project details that help us quote

Send the site postcode, photographs, approximate dimensions, quantity, required wording, brand files, preferred timescale and whether you need design, removal, delivery or installation. It is fine if the material or construction is not yet decided.

Yes, provided the panel schedule and artwork system allow sections to be replaced cleanly. Retain source files and panel references for controlled updates.

Can you work from an agency’s campaign artwork?

Yes. We check scale, resolution, bleed, panel splits, safe areas, brand colours and installation details before production.

Do you supply temporary directional signs?

Yes. The construction and fixing should still be selected for the exposure, location, duration and risk of movement or obstruction.

Can you install while the site is operational?

Yes, where the principal contractor approves the method, access and programme. Site rules and sequencing must be supplied before attendance.
