Our fully electric van
Our fully electric Volkswagen ID. Buzz is one of the practical choices we’ve made in how we operate. We use it for suitable deliveries and site visits as part of our day-to-day work.
It does not mean every journey connected with a project is electric, but it is a useful part of how we are making more considered transport choices where it suits the job.
More considered packaging
We use recycled packaging, including a recycled-paper alternative to bubble wrap, recycled paper packing tape and recycled-paper vegan stickers for our packaging. These are practical choices in how we protect and present our customers’ orders.
Packaging requirements vary with the product, size and journey, so we do not describe every package as plastic-free, compostable or universally recyclable. We prefer to be specific about the changes we have actually made.
Thoughtful material choices
There is no single material that is the right environmental choice for every sign or print project. Purpose, location, expected lifespan, finish, fixing method and exposure all matter.
We keep reviewing the materials, suppliers and working practices involved in what we produce, and we help customers consider suitable, durable options for the job in front of them. If you have particular material requirements or environmental priorities, tell us at the start of the project and we can discuss the appropriate options.
Our commitment extends to our website.
As part of rebuilding our website, we chose Krystal as our hosting provider because its environmental approach matters to us.
Krystal states that its data centres run on 100% renewable energy and that it is a certified B Corp. Choosing our hosting provider with care is another way we’re bringing environmental considerations into the decisions we make.
An ongoing commitment
We see this as an ongoing responsibility, not a finished checklist. We will keep reviewing our materials, suppliers and working practices, and share further changes here as they become part of how we work.
That means being clear about what we are already doing, careful about the claims we make and open about the fact that there will always be more we can improve.
