Purple Frog Signs creates wall murals, cut-vinyl lettering, mounted logos, feature panels and branded interior displays for workplaces, schools, healthcare settings, hospitality venues and public spaces. Artwork and materials are planned around the wall finish, dimensions, obstructions, viewing distance and expected lifespan. Where information changes, modular panels or replaceable graphic zones can preserve the main installation while allowing economical updates.

The surface is part of the specification
Wall graphics depend on a clean, dry, sound and suitably finished surface. Fresh paint needs adequate curing time, and some low-VOC, stain-resistant, textured or heavily matt paints can reduce adhesion. Existing flaking paint, damp or contamination must be addressed before application. Use a test patch where the surface or paint system is uncertain.
Design at architectural scale
Prepare artwork from verified dimensions and account for sockets, radiators, furniture, corners, doors and sightlines. Essential words and faces should not fall across awkward joins or obstructions. A mural should have a clear focal point and enough visual breathing room rather than filling every available centimetre.
Modular and maintainable displays
Where information changes, consider separate panels, rails, magnetic elements or replaceable graphic zones. This can preserve the main installation while allowing names, achievements, sponsors or dates to be updated economically.

Acrylic
A polished plastic sheet used for premium-looking panels, plaques, lettering and layered signs. It can be printed, cut, backed or mounted with stand-off fixings.
Vinyl and printable films
A broad family of materials used for lettering, windows, walls, panels and vehicles. Adhesive, conformability, opacity, finish and removability vary significantly.

Read all frequently asked questionsCan wall graphics be removed without damage?
Removability depends on the selected film, paint, wall preparation, age and environment. Removal may lift weak paint or reveal colour differences. Temporary use must be stated at the start so the material can be chosen accordingly.
Can you install over textured walls?
Some specialist films can tolerate limited texture, but the finish and durability differ from a smooth surface. A site assessment and adhesion test are advisable.
Can a mural use photographs supplied by us?
Yes, when the original image has enough resolution and the rights permit the intended use. We check the file at final scale and can recommend a layout that works with the available detail.
Can the graphics be installed during a fit-out?
Yes, but only when dust-producing work is complete, surfaces are finished and cured, access is clear and the environment meets the selected material’s application requirements.
