Understanding the different pavement sign formats
Pavement signs are portable freestanding signs designed to place information, promotions or directions where people naturally pass. The term covers several different constructions, including traditional A-boards, swing signs, poster pavement signs and rigid-panel systems.

A-boards
A-boards use two faces joined at the top to create a stable freestanding display. They are widely used outside shops, cafés, restaurants, visitor attractions, schools, venues and reception areas.
Depending on the system, graphics can be permanently applied, printed directly to rigid panels or designed as replaceable inserts.
Swing boards
Swing boards suspend the display panel within a supporting frame so the face can move slightly in the wind. Many systems use a weighted or moulded base to improve stability while remaining portable.
They work particularly well where a business wants a durable pavement display that can be moved indoors at the end of the day.
Poster and changeable pavement signs
Poster-style pavement signs are useful where promotions or information change regularly. Snap frames, poster pockets or replaceable graphic panels allow staff to update the display without replacing the complete sign.

Materials, graphics and finishes
