Before: the original Staggered roadside directional sign, which was functional but ready to be replaced with a more professional, durable and brand-consistent post and panel sign.

Purple Frog Signs designed, manufactured and installed a new post and panel sign for Staggered, replacing an older roadside directional sign with a cleaner, more professional and brand-consistent external signage solution.

The new sign gives the business a stronger first impression from the roadside, helping visitors identify the premises more easily while presenting the Staggered brand in a more polished and permanent way.

This before-and-after project is a clear example of how professional business signage can improve visibility, brand consistency and the overall appearance of commercial premises.

Project overview

Client: Staggered LTD, Sittingbourne, Kent Project: Post-and-panel sign design, manufacture and installation Type of signage: Roadside signage, external signage, branded business sign Service provided: Signage design, sign manufacture and sign installation Location served by Purple Frog Signs: Hythe, Kent, London and the wider South-East.

Purple Frog Signs was asked to create a more professional post-and-panel sign for Staggered. The brief was to replace the existing temporary-looking directional sign with a stronger branded solution that looked more suitable for a permanent business premises.

The challenge

The original sign was functional and helped direct visitors, but it looked tired, lightweight and less consistent with the Staggered brand.

For businesses, roadside signage often creates one of the first impressions a visitor, customer or supplier has of the site. If the sign looks temporary, dated or inconsistent with the rest of the brand, it can make the premises feel less polished than the business itself.

Staggered needed a clearer, more professional sign that would still perform a practical directional role while improving the visual presentation of the site.

The solution

Purple Frog Signs designed, manufactured and installed a new branded post and panel sign.

The finished sign features:

  • A dark grey branded sign panel

  • The Staggered logo and wordmark

  • Black posts for a clean, smart finish

  • Strong roadside visibility

  • Clear spacing and a simple, professional layout

  • A more permanent and brand-consistent appearance.

The new post and panel sign keeps the message clear while giving the business a more confident external presence. The design is simple, practical and easy to read, which is especially important for roadside signage and business premises where visitors need to identify the location quickly.

The result

The completed sign gives Staggered a more professional and polished arrival point.

The new signage improves:

  • First impressions for visitors arriving at the premises

  • Brand consistency from the roadside

  • Site visibility and recognition

  • The overall appearance of the business frontage

  • The sense that the signage is permanent, considered and professionally produced.

This project shows how replacing a tired or temporary sign with well-designed commercial signage can make a noticeable difference without overcomplicating the message.
